Our Story

The Wisner Family Foundation was launched in 2016 by Carl and  Joanne Wisner - both life long residents of Kalamazoo, Michigan where they have developed deep roots in the community.  The Wisner Family Foundation was established after Carl and Joanne realized that many of their charitable contributions had little impact on their local community.  Soon after, they made the commitment to prioritize their charitable giving within their hometown and to communities in which their growing family lives.  "We are the proud parents of four daughters and are blessed to be able to say that our family has grown over the years to include many grandchildren and great grandchildren."  Since its inception, the Wisner Family Foundation has awarded numerous grants to a wide variety of organizations in multiple states.   The Wisner Family Foundation is administered by the family.
